Nina and Ahna - 9:15PM
Apparently Demi had been right all along: Nina had needed to let loose. Not that she was doing so to Demi's standards -- not that she was 100% clear what Demi's standards were, as she'd always declined details -- but she was well on her way to drunk and, surprise surprise, enjoying herself. Though she knew she'd be back to reality the next day, it was nicer than she thought it'd be to forget about all the responsibilities and guilt and worries for at least a few hours.
She was sidling up to the drinks station to refill her glass when she caught sight of a woman she hadn't seen in what felt like ages but was likely a couple of weeks or months, at most. "It's good to see you again, Ahna," she greeted, turning towards her with a smile that was just a tad smidge bigger than her usual ones. "Having fun at your dad's party?"
