Tried was a loose term, really. More like, watch the players on the field and make sarcastic remarks. But who was really paying attention, anyway? Certainly not Nora. She didn't feel like she had to make that known, though - especially when she was in a place like this and she was probably meant to be tough and mean and ready to party or something. Nora probably should have paid more attention to sports, she realized now, but back then, it really meant nothing at all to her. It still didn't, honestly, but it definitely came in handy to have some real physical strength.
"All kinds," she replied fondly. "Mostly ones that involved putting my brother's pet snake in her bed or switching out her school books for trash in her bag. Really mature stuff, obviously," she mused, laughing a bit at the thought of it. "Don't really know why we did it. My brother Abe instigated it and I always just went along with it." She was interrupted by all thoughts of Abe, though, when Josh's thumb trapped hers down.
"Damn it! I almost had you!" she exclaimed, throwing her head back in a laugh. She couldn't remember the last time she'd laughed like this. She surprised herself, really, because she hadn't let herself laugh when she was alone. And now, it was pouring out of her like nothing had changed. She sighed, shaking her head. "I'm gonna have to get you back at some point."
