Nora felt herself beam at him as he reassured her that he would definitely find a way to watch a movie with a Saul Bass opening title. It was silly, really, but she found it really quite comforting that he was so interested in her interests. Maybe he was just being nice, but Nora wanted to hold onto that feeling. "Psycho's the best one," she said offhandedly. "But any Saul Bass you can get your hands on is pretty much worth it." She wasn't actually sure it was worth scavenging at all, but she could hope that Josh might stumble upon it eventually. "If we ever got a projector here, though, I'd want movie nights. Is that a thing here? Do you think we could make that a thing?"
Noticing the pout, Nora immediately felt a little bad because she was just realizing that people who didn't know her didn't necessarily get her right away. She was snarky and sarcastic and blunt, and sometimes, that really rubbed people the wrong way. But Nora didn't mean it cruelly - she never would. It was just her way of expressing herself, and she was kind of overcompensating right now because everything was so new and she wanted to feel independent and adult-like. Poking fun was honestly her weird way of showing affection. She nudged her thumb into his, smirking at him. "Well, it's really good salsa." She smiled a little more sincerely, hesitantly adding, "And you know that I'm just joking, right? I don't... actually mean to make fun of you. Sorry. Sometimes I come off a little strong and don't really... mean to," she ended lamely, giving him an apologetic look.
Nora laughed when Josh mentioned being a nerd, shrugging at him because his nerdiness was becoming kind of endearing to her. "I don't think being a nerd is a bad thing. Especially when you can use it in times like this. But I didn't think so before, either."
