Nina didn't trust easy. Not these days, anyway, especially when it came to people who ran a Capitol-allied shelter. She knew the recent company she'd been keeping with members of the APD meant she wasn't one to talk, especially considering the shelter she still called home, but, well. Better safe then sorry.
And then everything had changed. The type of disappearance the Dog Park had recently suffered had happened again, this time to someone who was supposed to be in with Olinger's regime. That was the way it looked from the outside, at least, and Nina was determined to find out how it looked from the inside.
"Thanks for taking the time to see me," she says once Sol has let her in and she's crossed the threshold of his office. She's glad that the Patrolmen have stopped following her around, of course, especially now that she's seeking additional connections in a way that would certainly seem suspicious, but she can't help but wonder why they've called off her tail. "I can't imagine things have been easy for you."
