It's not as if she had a choice. It was kill or be killed but, even if it wasn't...there was no way in hell that she was going to let someone else get at Sonny Donovon for all the fuck he'd rained down on her and her people. There was so many sides to the what the fuckedness of the situation that no matter what, when it came to her and Sonny she was going to do and ask for forgiveness later.
Too tired to care about hands on her...she lay there, chewing inside her cheek as Sarge went over the evidence. She's only distracted a moment when Lil Sister gets her a cup of water and the gulp she takes is immediately regretted as she squeezes it down her swollen pipes.
Truthfully, there's some part of Teagan that wants to say 'I told you so.' Not even to say it. She wants to scream it. She wants to point fingers and jab at collarbones and tell them that they were so fucking wrong that she might not ever get over it completely. How can you trust those that never really trusted you to begin with. How will be sure they won't question her again. How does she know that someone else won't be bought out by the capitol or gets it in their mind to get power hungry.
In the notes there's mention from Virgil that Sonny's plan all along was to take Rodeo out, to ascend to the King Hound himself - that everything he had done had been a slow burn of ascension and he really thought that eventually everyone would fall on one knee and swear allegiance to him in the end.
The question from Addie gets a few moments of silence. It's hesitation. She's still real paranoid, still unsure of where she stands and she doesn't know if now is the time to play her hand. She looks from Addie to Sarge and then back again. "Solomon Reed." she goes all in. "He's not sure about Olinger at all. Facts are mounting. Rodeo's revolution might be coming sooner than we thought."
