Vic nods at the not-too-subtle order from Rodeo, already knowing he won't have a problem trying to stay out of trouble. He's done well enough so far on his plan to get home to his family more or less in one piece, trying to walk the line between carefulness and still having his men's back when they need him. It's hard for him to hide the look that flashes over his face at the mention of Rome, though -- surprise, first, then a weird moment of jealousy at the thought of Rodeo somehow having contacted his brother, whether through one of La Quinta's men or not. But it's good to know that Rome is still out there, that his brother is safe for now. Even if he wishes he would've been the one passing along them messages or how ever that's been working.
"This man we supposedly got running some tricks for us, he's for sure going to hold up his end of it if we need to count on him?" It's hard to imagine why anyone on this side of things would want to bother, but he isn't about to look a gift horse in the mouth. Not if Rodeo's the one who brought it to them. "I'm assuming they're going to go for it," he says in response to Bishop's question, as much as the thought makes his stomach turn. "You think we'd even be able to hear about if they did?" Vic has to believe that if it'd already happened, they would know somehow.
