It certainly isn't that the rest of them can't function without Rodeo, but he has a way of cutting through all their noise and providing that stability that keeps everything together. If the worst had happened -- and he'd only considered it as an option out of wanting to look after his crew, not because Vic had ever really doubted that Rodeo would manage to pull his way out of solitary -- they would've made do. But luckily all those backup plans end up being unnecessary, because there's the motherfucker coming right at them, motoring ahead on his own volition.
"I'm with Bishop," Vic says, nodding his head at Rodeo with a slight grin to acknowledge the man's presence. If they'd been at the Dog Park, he wouldn't have even hesitated to be more demonstrative, but they have appearances to uphold here. "Books've never been better. We oughtta do this full-time." He doesn't bother to add 'when we get out;' they all know what he's hoping for, and as confident as he still is that the day will come that they'll bust out or walk out, his desire to take chances on that dwindles down further as time passes.
