Marina took a slow sip of her own drink, mouth pulled down in a frown. She didn't like their current situation any more than Noa and as she searched her brain for any explanation the only thing she could really think of was--
"I bet that cock sucking Mayor is telling them not to attack us yet. Because this doesn't seem like them. They know our Officers are locked up. They know we're still recovering from them blasting the fucking wall. We're more vulnerable than normal right now and it would be the perfect time for them to come at us with everything they've got -- which apparently includes high grade explosives and machine guns."
It was funny how things had changed. Not too long ago she'd been part of the system that provided the guns, but now she was on the receiving end. If karma existed, she was a real bitch. Marina sighed and took another drink. It was just going to be that kind of day. "When we went to the LBJ for Thansgiving I was talking to a girl who got attacked by them. Olivia? She said the guys who did it seemed like they were high. Maybe the longer they stay away the more addicted all of Jefe's men get. Could actually be working to our advantage," she shrugged, pulling at threads to find a silver lining in all this bullshit.
