Prospecting
She pours him his glass and slides it over when she takes a seat across from him. Her legs fit under the table just fine. It's a formation they'll come back to time and time again after this night.
"It's hard." she isn't going to bullshit. Nothing about it is easy and it aint to fun either. "But I'm determined and I aint ever failed at something once I was determined." she sips from her own glass.
"Anyone sayin' anything 'bout me?" she's not talking about the other officers. She's talking about the camp, anyone...Her experience with people and their opinions have been hot and cold since she took this on. Maybe she needs to hear what he has to say for motivation. Maybe for a distraction. He sure looks good sitting in here with her. It shouldn't bother her that Cherry will probably have him to herself later. Cherry seems to have claimed him. Teagan doesn't blame her.
The question why he doesn't have an old lady bounced on the tip of her tongue but she swallows it. That would open up a can of worms. She doesn't want that conversation switching directions.
"What would you think If I took a lover?" she asks him, suddenly. "Me particularly. As a woman and a prospect. Would it bother you?"
