Bishop listens to her explanation, nodding his head in understanding when she explains it would be harder on her to do anything else but prospect. He doesn’t pry, after all if she had wanted to elaborate she would have. “It’s not something everyone wants to do,” he says instead, taking a moment to glance around the bonfire at the gathered people.
“End of the day it ain’t my decision, or at least not alone, as to whether you end up ‘on the team’ or not,” he replies with a shrug. “And no, what you decided to do is your own choice, I ain’t here to do anything other than figure out the why behind your decision.” And that he had, or at least he felt like he knew a little more what it was that made Teagan tick and pushed her towards going for a patch.
