Teagan is learning on her own. That’s how anything in her life needs to develop. Men are biased. People are biased. So is she. This is a learning process for her. She’s finding her way in this world the same as any of them. “I prefer finding out the story on my own.” She gives back. He gets up off of her and stands over her. Doesn’t offer her a hand up and she makes note of that. She’s on her feet without any hardship in any case. She’s looking up at him, big sized man as he is. Teagan holds herself as if she’s just as tall. She’s no shrink dink.
“But, I aint no little red riding hood. No one’s gonna swallow me up whole.” She narrows her eyes at him, looking at him, absorbing the minute details about him. Then turns on her heel to go. There’s nothing else she wants to say and if there’ no fight here, she’s going to go back to tent fold she’d been given. She ain’t sure she’ll be staying still.
