Sarge doesn't even flinch when that fist comes flying. Nor does he try to protect himself in any way, or thinks about hitting back. Every punch is taken without him making a sound, and that right there is something that positively scared some of the guys he fought in the semi legal fights Bob got him into. While Sarge knows exactly how to block punches he usually doesn't deem it worth the effort, depending on his general mood. And right now he thinks he deserves every last one of them for several reasons.
The only thing he doesn't do is help Rodeo with getting him off the bed. Finally, when he is half sure that he received enough hits from his best friend for his betrayal and the defiling of Adelaide he rolls himself off the bed and clumsily lands on his feet.
"Let me know when you're done," he growls at his best friend. They have known each other since they were little but that doesn't mean that he will always interpret things the right way, not if it interfers with his own distorted view of the world.
