“So we make contingencies from what’s he’s written,” Noa interjects between bites, making a gesture towards the notebook in front of Addie. “Expand on it if we need to, if it looks like leaving is our only option.” Because when everything is laid on the table Noa would trust Rodeo’s thoughts on something over everyone else's, hands down. She’s more than willing to pull up the roots of park if it feels necessary; there’s no sentimentality for her in the Greenbelt. “Ain’t no reason we don’t cover every last possibility.” Preparedness could be the difference between failing or succeeding.
Her eyebrows are right on up towards her hairline with Rome’s suggestion also, but Addie beat her to saying anything. “Ruth’s a damn good shot. If we put her and a few others up high they can pick off anyone we don’t want getting past the fence,” she says. “If she’s willing to put her ass on the line like that.” They can’t force anyone to participate in their schemes, whether or not it would help. “No way we send anyone we want safe towards that blast though. Gotta think that they would send COs and APD towards a disruption like that, and if our guys are there too it lowers the chances they’ll get out.” She rolls over the thought of getting any information in around for a few more moments, because it’s the trickiest part in an already tricky plan.
“Your cop can’t get anything in.” Noa meets Addie’s eyes for confirmation that she isn't wrong. “Demi's man won't either.” And they can’t pay off a CO or anything like that, they’re all too far in Olinger’s pocket. “What about medical? I'd bet money on one 'em being banged up enough to need a doc sooner or later."
