In the wake of Olivia's stay at UMCB, Lita had only seen and talked to Olivia in reference to her injuries. It had been very professional; checking mobility, discussing pain management, going over physical therapy. Their checkup hadn't been the time nor the place to dissect the conversation they had back in her apartment. Besides, a few days ago, Lita hadn't been able to discretely observe the interactions between Olivia and Maizie to draw any conclusions about the nature of their relationship. After a whole afternoon of festivities, Lita had been able to catch the two of them out of the corner of her eye a few times. There was nothing overt, nothing significant to Lita's eyes that pointed that the two girls were more than just friends but that didn't mean anything. She might be pushing her luck, but Lita thought another little chat with her newest patient might be in order.
"Yup, can't get rid of me that easily," Lita affirmed. Her staying over at the LBJ was a frequent enough occurrence that hardly anyone noticed anymore. "Except, we won't be able to do any of the fun sleepover stuff like wearing footie pajamas and making Thanksgiving leftover sandwiches until we get cleaned up. So why then, exactly, are you over here when we're busting our asses over there?"
Lita inclined her head over to where the kitchen staff, Savannah, and Maizie were tidying up. She had been doing the same, albeit with significantly less enthusiasm, before seeing Olivia dawdling from afar and deciding to investigate.
