Adelaide rolls her eyes skywards. "He did," she confirms, and she doesn't have to say a damn word more for it to be perfectly crystal clear that she doesn't have a mite of patience for it in her small body. "Which really, boggled my mind. Like yes, thank you for coming to patch people up, there's a tent for the help over there. But no. It was me, Jims, Charlie, Sarge, my cat, and their two dogs in that sardine can. Which is just right if you ask me. Add in one doctor moonlighting for misguided adventure romance and you're messing with a real well-established balance."
Then Adelaide shrugs. She already thinks there's way too damn many extra bodies in this place - there's maybe five outside of her immediate family she wouldn't boot if she got the chance. But she's aware that's a minority opinion. "I have no idea where she'd be happy," she says, without much indication that she cares, either. "She's still pretending like we don't all know she'll take him back, at this point," she adds, and then her gaze follows Teagan's over toward the cows. "What's with Farmer Ex, anyway?" she asks. "Why's she so okay hanging around being somebody's leftovers, anyway?"
