Graham was a morning person. He didn't get up stupid early, but he got up earlier than most. So he had already been for his morning run-- yes, he ran. He was a geek, but that didn't mean he couldn't do physical things like jogging, contrary to popular belief.
He'd already been for his morning run in the gym, had a nice shower, checked his inbox, and made his way to the kitchen to make himself a cup of Twinings with one of the fancy bags of tea that he'd traded for. He had just missed Archer, but they were both headed in the same direction, so when Graham set foot out onto the roof of the Capitol, it very nearly startled him when he saw someone else already out and about!
Humming quietly to himself, Graham finished helping steep his tea a little before hanging the string over the side of his cup. Pausing to dig the half unwrapped old Nutri-grain bar from his pocket, he carefully placed it next to his tea cup, on the edge of the saucer and smiled.
Crumpling the wrapper more, he tossed it into the trashcan before reaching to pick up the saucer and everything on it, as well as the small notepad and pencil, he'd previously set on the counter beside it. He was going to have a nice, quiet breakfast, and get some work done.
After reaching the top of the stairs, Graham pushed his way through the door, and took a few steps, his focus on what he was carrying as he went, careful not to spill any of the tea.
He only jumped when he lifted his eyes back up to catch glimpse of the much broader and much taller shadowy figure, "Oh, jesus!" And dammit, if it didn't make him spill a little of his precious Twinings!!
"Don't stand in the shadows like that, whoever you are," his voice went up a little at the end in almost what sounded like a whine. He huffed and stepped over to set the saucer down on a nearby metal structure so that he could wipe the tee from his hand.
