Lita and Demi's whispers cease at Isaac's tactful throat clearing and they both watch as he reenters the room. Lita wonders what it's like to just come home for lunch and have someone waiting there for you all rarin' to go. She knows it isn't as simple as all that; she's aware of the struggles these two lovebirds had to endure in order to get their heads out of their asses and finally get together. Still, must be nice to have someone to come home to. Lita's jealous in an abstract, roundabout way. Mostly, she's just happy that her friend is happy.
"This is a good look, too," Lita reassures Isaac with a smile. She perches on the arm of a nearby couch; she doesn't want to commit to settling into the cushions and make the two of them think she's staying for the long haul. Jokes about polygamy aside, she's not looking to cockblock anyone for too long. Judging from his attire, however, it seems her impromptu appearance had done just that. It sucks that her well-intented visit spurned him to head back to the office but she's glad she's gotten her peace of mind.
"Demi was just telling me how much I shouldn't have come all the way to the Capitol just to check on her," Lita says, attempting a normal conversation that doesn't revolve around how nice Isaac looks sans clothes. "....and I was disagreeing with her. It just proves that not only am I a consummate professional but also the best kind of friend. Modest, too, if you couldn't guess that already."
Lita had a vague idea of what Isaac did in the Department of Justice; or, rather, she knew what he had done to get Demi out of the hellhole that was La Quinta. She didn't want to keep him from doing whatever it was he did at his job, especially since she had already kept him from doing what he did in the bedroom. Still, she was curious about what he did all day besides sexing up Demi.
"So, Isaac, what am I keeping you from? Besides the obvious I mean." Lita chuckles but quickly continues. "Paperwork? Or are you more hands on with your job in the department?"
