"I wouldn't worry about the harem insinuation," Lita calls after the shirtless, retreating form of Isaac. "Wouldn't be the juiciest rumor floating around about me anyhow." She turns her attention to Demi, her grin wide, amused, and slightly dazed.
"Oh my God," she laughs, careful to keep her voice low. Her one hand touches Demi's arm in support and incredulity and her other hand goes in front of her mouth. "I am so sorry! I mean, I'm not, because you can't beat the view but holy shit I didn't mean to interrupt your afternoon delight."
She watches Demi's pleased expression with vicarious joy. Good on her friend for finally getting the guts to see this thing with Isaac through. Still, she couldn't let her get away with being M.I.A. and worrying her half to death. Lita makes sure Isaac is still occupied with becoming "presentable" or some such nonsense before lightly scolding her buddy.
"You know I wouldn't hightail it over for the Capitol for just anyone, you know," Lita reprimands indulgently, her smile never wavering. "You're lucky I like you so damn much. Is it so hard to answer your phone every once in a while to give your pal Lita some peace of mind? I thought you were dead in a ditch somewhere, not taking two hour sex lunches."
