Rodeo glances back towards the door, brow stitching for only a moment before he nods and hooks an arm behind Nina's shoulders to start walking with her. "It ain't like I'm actually helping in there," he admits, glad enough to be with Nina that he doesn't mind the guilt he feels stepping away from his post. He's got so much to tell his old friend, and though his meeting is unexpected and he's unprepared to show her the proof of the things he's planning to tell her, at least telling her is a start. Nina knows his true heart. She knows that he wouldn't lie to her. He never did. Well, alright, he tried to once. But she saw right through him, even way back when they'd only just met. The way she bluntly confronted him and called him out on the lie earned her immense respect from him, and he promised her then that he would never lie to her again. That promise is one he still plans to honor today, and he hopes she trusts him enough to believe him.
"What brings you here, anyhow?" Rodeo asks as they walk, keeping to more casual conversation until they're behind closed doors.
