As Bishop and his men entered the house, Erik gestured towards the side of the building as he began to make his way there. “We’ll set it up there,” he pointed out, tucking his gun away for the time being. He was going to need both of his hands for this task. It shouldn’t take too long for him to get it ready.
Dropping down to one knee, Erik located a concealed spot for him to plant the bomb. It was better not to have it in plain sight, especially if the house was occupied by the cats. He only hoped that they weren’t going to be an issue for long. “You could have gone in with him,” he said, glancing over at Nate, “but thanks.” They weren’t as familiar with each other as they both were to Bishop, so he appreciated it.
He was just done with attaching the explosive to the house when he heard the shouts from inside. His eyes darted towards the left (if anyone was going to round the corner, he wanted to be prepared) as he quickened his work. “I just need a few more seconds,” he said, just as a man came into peripheral view.
