SENT FROM: The Office of the Mayor & Council TYPE: Public Post TIME: May 5, 2019 4:23 PM
Citizens of Austin:
For some time it has been the aim of this office to see the members of the criminal organization known as the Hellhounds brought to justice, and patrolmen of this city have worked tirelessly in pursuit of that goal. Today, thanks to that same hard work, there has been a new development in this matter. Knowing that law enforcement personnel were closing in, James “Rodeo” Hawkins, the self-styled “Dog King” and leader of this insurgent raider gang, has fled the city for parts unknown. In his company were two other fugitives: Hawkins’ sister, Adelaide Lansing, and his second-in-command, Ian “Sarge” Terrell. Rather than stand and face the consequences of their collective crimes, these three have chosen cowardice and the certain death that awaits outside the safety of Austin’s city limits.
Rest assured that we are closer than ever in securing the arrest of the remaining members of this band of criminals and seeing the dissolution of their illegal encampment. Should any Hellhound choose to submit to the Department of Justice to answer for their crimes, leniency may be granted if certain conditions are fulfilled. Citizens are asked to remain vigilant in the coming days, to follow the citywide curfew that remains in effect, and to contact the Capitol’s tip line to report any suspicious behavior. Remember: aiding and abetting these criminals will result in all collaborators being prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
Together, we can secure the return of peace to Austin.
