Citizens of Austin:
At noon today, the criminal organization known as Hellhounds dispatched a contingent to the La Quinta correctional facility where many of their top ranking thugs were being housed to await trial. With their signature lack of disregard for human life, these Hellhounds and Hellhound supporters destroyed an exterior wall of the facility, making possible the escape of not only their own people, but the escape of a number of other dangerous convicted criminals already brought to justice by the efforts of your Department of Justice.
The Hellhound leader makes claims of a desire to improve our city, to make the hard choices to keep you, your families and friends safe in the city of Austin. Repeatedly and again today, their actions have proven contrary to those statements. Repeatedly, the Hellhounds make Austin a more dangerous, fraught city, systematically working to unweave the tapestry of safety and order that your public servants work for - and sometimes give their lives for.
I have many times extended offers of friendship and cooperation to those shelters not already pledged to stand with us against these threats, and I do so again today. We can no longer tolerate the existence of this dangerous infection in our city if we wish Austin to heal and prosper in the future. As a result, anyone found in sympathy with these known criminals will answer to the Department of Justice. Aiding and abetting these terrorists is a crime.
It is time to stand together as one, to show the Hellhounds and their affiliates that we will not tolerate their push toward chaos and lawlessness, paraded as ‘freedom’. A populace too afraid to go outdoors is by no means free. They cannot go against us all - we must stand as a united front against the chaos of these lawless men and women. Order and unity will keep us strong.
Patrols in the city and at all affiliated shelters will increase until the threat is neutralized. Effective immediately, a curfew will be enacted from the hours of 8PM to 8AM to aid our brave Patrolmen in their work. We ask that those leaving shelter walls at any time do so in groups of three or more - anyone found in violation will be detained for questioning. But most importantly, citizens - if you see something, say something. Those among us with misguided loyalties are our biggest threat. A tipline has been created for anyone with information regarding criminal activity. [Linked Contact]
This is not a time to stay silent, citizens of Austin. We have no room for neutrality in this fight.
