Phone call

Tien stared at his phone, finger hovering over the dial button as he waited for the time to kick over to midnight. He was excited, and though this was sort of a tradition, he still wanted to surprise his brother. As his phone time finally ticked over to read 00:00, he pressed his finger down on the call button, holding the phone impatiently to his ear. It didn't even ring, instead he got the annoying voice of EE's voicemail lady. After a seconds hesitation he dropped the call.

"You fucking twat." He muttered to his phone as he immediately tried to ring again. "Your phone better not be dead."
