Subject: Job Openings
Dear Sir or Madam,
I'm writing to ask about any potential openings in your Objects & Retrieval department. My experience isn't exactly the kind of thing you put down in a resume, and my previous employers aren't exactly the kind of folks that you can ask for a letter of recommendation. I had ten years of experience in the United States Marine Corps, most of which is still classified, and I've been working as an independent contractor for the last five years. My reincarnate was in a similar field.
My experience may be unconventional, but it would make me a strong asset in the kind of work I believe you need done when it comes to Objects & Retrieval. Specifically the retrieval part, which is what most of my jobs over the last five years have been. Is there any possibility that even with the holes in my work experience that are either classified or impossible to verify, I would stand a chance at getting hired, or should I not waste my time?
Sincerely,
Bowie Calhoun
