Packages To: Emily Marie Wilson Inside the folds of black silk is a deck of tarot deck, but not one that Emily Marie will have seen before. The imagery on the cards is dark, and the major arcana and court cards all feature monsters in the place of people - the exception being The Devil, where a man holds the chains wrapped around slender, faceless creatures. The initials 'Z.R.' are worked into the images on every card, but only The Fool is signed with the full 'Z Ramey'.
To: Violet Ward Upon tearing the paper away, a panoramic painting of a twisted version of Neverland at night is revealed. The trees in the forest are dead and gnarled, with 'Z Ramey' blended so neatly into the roots that it would be easy to miss. Peter Pan and his Lost Boys are gaunt, hollow-eyed zombies; the Indian tribe is streaked with blood with human scalps hanging from cords around their waists; the mermaids are terrifying, scaly creatures with sharp teeth; the pirate ship is manned by skeletons, the leader with an iron hook strapped to his arm, with giant crocodiles lurking in the murky depths. At the center of the painting is a smirking gothic version of Tinkerbell, with features clearly modeled after Violet's. In the sky in which she hovers, pinpricks of stars spell out the phrase 'she was all bad just now'.
