As much as she was a dragon to get on with, Lina actually liked her assistant. It was down to the bubbly Lindy that she kept coming to these parties. Sure it was social suicide to not turn up, but Lina had never really liked people enough to worry about what they might be saying about her behind her back. Lindy seemed to enjoy the parties however, and her pout was ridiculously cute. A fact that Lina would also never admit to, but it was the thing that always swayed her from indifference into action.
So she had come, finding herself a sea green dress to wear. Nothing too out of the ordinary but it still suggested the flow of water as it rippled past her legs. She had even considered sculpting her hair into delicate waves, but in the end decided against it, instead dying her hair a mermaid blue in slightly more natural looking curls. All the effort of her outfit didn't mean she was prepared to be nice to everyone there however. She didn't have time for most of them, because if she was honest, they bored the life out of her.
Lindy had long since found her own crowd. The stylists who were excessively upbeat. That wasn't Lina's scene by any means, she would probably volunteer as tribute before being subjected to a night of that. Mostly she kept to herself, joining in conversations only when she forced. Eventually she dragged herself away again, stalking to one of the least crowded spots she could find which happened to be in the vicinity of District 7's escort. She at least looked subdued and far less annoying than say, the mentor from District 4 who was by now making a fool of himself, of course. She rolled her eyes at him in disgust, unconsciously uttering a sound from her throat that echoed the sentiment.
