The appearance of the clowns set Cooper growling in their direction. Bas' attention was fully captivated as he watched with wide eyes and paid no mind to his thoroughly disgruntled pet. Cooper, however, wasn't having it and he turned, jaws open only for them to clamp down on Sebastian's arm. "Ow! Cooper!" His voice was at once his own, without the dazed tone he'd held in it only moments ago. Cooper didn't hide from his master's wrath, though. The dog put his front paws on Bas' knees and nosed his chest.
The pain from the throbbing bite to his arm chased off some of the haze in his brain and he shook his head trying to clear it even as that haze fought to move back over his mind like a thick fog. "Ginny," he whispered in a serious but hushed tone, "Ginny something's wrong." But that happy entrancement was taking back over his thoughts quickly. As Bas' eyes fixated on the clowns pouring out of the small car with undivided attention Cooper resorted to biting Ginny's calf instead.
