"You haven't?" Her voice had a hint of surprise in it and she wondered why. "And yeah we have circuses- they had a baby dragon at one I went to when I was young. That was perhaps the best circus I've ever been to." Murmuring her apologies, Ginny walked past another few groups and finally found their seats, flinging herself into the seat and pulling her legs in close to her. Maybe she would be able to avoid touching the chewing gum on the back of the seats in front of her.
The music was getting louder, the small group they had playing up at the front playing their instruments with vigour. One of the men, the trumpeter, finished a solo and the swell of the music that followed seemed to make every cell in her body vibrate with it. Ginny hummed along, though she didn't know the tune, and almost cried out when the music quit, the band packing up their stuff and moving out of the way.
The lights dimmed then and she knew that the show proper would start soon. Ginny barely resisted the urge to clap like a small child.
