"You can go back and spend time with her if you would like," she told him seriously, one brow raised at the sudden burst of laughter in response to what she thought was a humorless question. "It sounded like you don't - but the offer is there, although you don't need it, I suppose. I'm not keeping you hostage. I'm babbling," she frowned apologetically. "I just know that sometimes... you do want to see a person after that long, even if you've been trying to convince yourself that you don't. Might not be the case here, of course, but..." she shrugged.
"And I was homeschooled - sometimes. I really didn't know more than how to read, write, and do very basic math before going to Durmstrang. My family was not too big on education, putting food on the table was more important."
