I assure you there is no reason to apologise, though thank you for your condolences.
The entire Department is stricken by the loss of Regulator Dursley. He was both a good man, and a valuable asset with his skills on the job. This loss is one that will be deeply felt by many. He is a man that more should have been lucky enough to know, and everyone in the department was lucky enough to work with him every day. He contributed a great deal to the department though his hard work, and there will never be another like him. Of course, his loss will not go uninvestigated. The department is currently looking into the case to determine the nature of the death. In respect for Regulator Dursley's memory, the case will be handled with the utmost care to insure the case is brought to the proper conclusion.
That's all I can really tell you at the moment, until the investigation is completed.
