"I have a contact here," she said, and for once her tone turned sober. "I've been in France for a long time... a long time. They're friendlier to what we- to what I want to do, with the kids..." Gwawr pushed her hair behind her head, tying it back with a bit of string that was tied loosely about her wrist. "A lot of them are old enough now to articulate the things that they saw... And I know there are others in England."
She looked at him out of the corners of her eye- for a while she'd been looking across to the far wall, maybe searching for the entrance to his studio. "We heard that there was talk in the Wizengamot about more Memory Charms. About normalizing them, here at least."
Her thin little hands came together in her lap. "I need wizarding support here, to convince them that good things can happen if they let it go. Let them remember what they remember. But my name isn't good for that here. Or any Muggle's, really."
