Everrett felt most of the anxiety he'd been feeling all day melt away at that touch and the sound of Ky's voice. It was calming and melodic, and his expression melted as soon as Ky opened his mouth. He offered the other boy a shy, half-grin in return, wiping his free hand against his shirt. It felt a little damp.
