He stayed silent, though, not replying to the information he'd gotten from Rives. It was good that he was happy. I would've taken that away from him. He couldn't believe he was actually comparing himself to the smarmy little bastard, but if he'd succeeded, he'd have put Rives exactly where he, himself was.
