Lo sighed before she ran up to him, stopping in from of Isaac and placing her hands on his arms with a chant of, "Wait, wait, wait."
"Please?" She asked once more, her blue eyes pleading. "Isaac, I have been worried sick about you for the past week, I can't - I finally know that you're alright, and just... humor me. Getting into that car isn't going to hurt you and I'll have you home in ten minutes. Besides," she glanced at him and at the filth that clung to her hands when she pulled them away from his arms. "You look like the perfect target for a mugging right now."
"At the very least," she added a little sadly. "Don't you want to say goodbye to Tyler and Maisie? And..." for some reason she actually felt like he cared. "And Rives? They're all quite fond of you, you know. Let them know that you got home safely."
