"I don't trust them." Malcolm said flatly. "They don't have anything that we need badly." He brushed an eyelash off of his cheek. "And then the professional, less-stressed part of me says that it's not about that, so much as getting this situation taken care of." He leaned his head back in the chair and closed his eyes as he thought in the situation.
The professional part of him also said that any bitter feuding between Trimble and Snape needed to be thrust aside during the last twenty minutes, but that was another matter entirely and hardly worth mentioning.
