Someone apparently had an idea similar to Arabella's. A wizard, a little older than the group of them, aimed his wand at the wall and yelled a spell that Yuri could not hear. The spell hit the glassy wall with a loud clanging noise; the glass contorted, something milky inside it seemed to move, but rather than break, or disappear, it grew an angry crimson. Yuri realized that the wall was growing thicker where the man was, and he was getting torn apart.
Mercifully, he was not given much time to contemplate this as everything street level that wasn't attached to the ground began to rise into the air, his own feet twisting and turning beneath them as they left solid ground. There was a temporary silence when Yuri heard the offending wizard shout in surprise- clearly this was not the charm he'd meant to cast- but then the entire street broke out in screams of surprise and fear. Gasoline from the car's ruined engine rose in small pockets like raindrops. Yuri held on to Arabella, hooking his arm through hers as he reached for Anthony as well.
