Quidditch Star in Family Scandal! Hogwarts Rival Fathered His Daughter! by Rita Skeeter
London (Prophet News Services)--Court filings this week prove that Marcus Flint, Falmouth Falcons Chaser and Quidditch heartthrob, may not be the father of the daughter his now ex-wife bore six years ago. Flint and Katie Bell were divorced last year and he recently remarried. Based on a recent legal filing, the Prophet can now report the news that the child of that marriage, whose name is withheld due to her age, is not, in fact Flint's, but belongs to Oliver Wood.
Wood and Flint were captains of Gryffindor and Slytherin Quidditch at Hogwarts and students at the school at that time report a bitter and personal rivalry between the two men. Katie Bell played Quidditch for Gryffindor under Wood, but following school and the war, she fell into the arms of her old Captain's rival and married him in 2002, the year the daughter believed to be Flint's was born. She filed this week to change the name of the father on the birth certificate, however, with a sworn Healer's statement that Oliver Wood was proven the father of the child.
At press time, we were unable to reach Bell or Wood for comment, and the Falcons' office had no comment on Flint's behalf. Be sure to follow our coverage of this breaking sports story over the weekend!
