Karen Greene of NYC, by way of Lynet of Orkney (lynet) wrote in refried_scenes,
As for Lynet, she looks quite pretty in a pale grey gown borrowed from her sister. Gaheris made good on his word to find her flowers, and her hair is done up rather more intricately than she would ever bother to do herself. Nonetheless, she's almost as glad as Gaheris is that the attention is off the two of them. So much attention makes her nervous, and when she's nervous she gets cross, and she'd rather not be snapping at people on a day like today if she can help it. (The whispers don't bother her, when she does manage to hear them. People will think what they think, and it's no matter to her.)
Now she's standing close to Gaheris, watching Gareth and Lyonors. She feels considerably better, and things can only improve once they move on to feasting. She puts her hand lightly on his arm, she can feel him trembling but she only says, "'Tis done. Hast lived through it."
