Good day, and I hope this letter finds you well. My name is Tristan Abbott, and I've been given reason to believe that you might be the daughter of my brother, Harold. You see, he left home when I was only a teenager, and I never knew what became of him. My cousin, Fabian Prewett, says he met you over the Holidays- I haven't reached out to you sooner as I've recently returned to the country myself, after twenty years abroad. I'm a Healer, you see, and I've recently recovered from a rather nasty case of Spattergroit- which I'm sure you desire little to hear about.
I'm afraid I'm not so very sure of just what to say here. I'd like to meet you, if that is something you might be interested in. I don't know what may have transpired between you and your father, but if he hasn't changed much in the last twenty years, than I may have some idea of just what may have been said to you. I've been told you're old enough now that you do not need a guardian, but...I'd like to introduce myself and offer myself as a mentor, perhaps, should that be something that you'd like. Or a friend.
