Unfortunately am tied up with other commitments, please advise if my input is required, otherwise possible to assign others to investigate?

I wasn't aware you were on any other cases at this time, Agent Dawlish. My apologies.

Given the high profile nature of the cases with which Lady Noir has been associated, it would be quite beneficial to have as many minds on this as possible. Moreover, I would echo Auror Longbottom's above sentiment. Which cases are you working on, now?

Classified. Above your pay grade, Longbottom.

Ah, good old-fashioned bureaucratic bullshit. Indeed. We'll see what Kingsley has to say about that.

[Alice]
Well.

No, it isn't, but I meant what I said. It would benefit to have more hands in this. If he's outright refusing to assist a fellow Auror, I think we have a responsibility to let Kingsley know.

I send him a memo, but then we're both going home. There is a bottle of wine and a long hot bath in your future, Mrs Longbottom.

I can stay and get started on this:
  • Cross-reference with crime scenes from other recent attacks.
  • Talk to other members of Puddlemere, see what they can tell us about Williams?
  • Was Williams' on any of the lists? I don't have my notes in front of me.

I can take over investigating the scene if you two need a break.

    Thank you, Bulstrode.

No, Williams wasn't on any of the lists. Neither was the wife.

If you can go check for entry points and do the cross-reference, that would be wonderful.

Which doesn't conform to the previous theories.

Are we dealing with a copy cat? Or is this actually "Lady Noir"? This is the first we've seen of calling cards, yes?

I'll head out to the crime scene now and have the references on your desk by the morning. I'll start talking to Puddlemere in the morning. See what I can find out about him.

As far as I know, it's the first I've seen the calling card, yes. But murders late last year follow the same pattern and we've attributed them to a female culprit.

Exactly. It's inefficient. But there must be a reason why. She's trying to make a point, which makes this more disturbing.

    I'm available.

I'll follow up with the DMAC team and crosscheck their Muggle-witness interviews with our own from Wizard locals or witnesses. I will also check in with forensics later on, see what they might have gleaned by then about the possible poisoning and the use of the Killing Curse.
