If I didn't know any better, I'd think you're trying to outdo me in being - what was it? More trite, shortsighted and ridiculous?

Are we adding homophobic to our long list of positive attributes here at the daily prophet?

Let's not pretend that this is you taking the high road. This is about you taking the very first opportunity that presents itself to sling some mud my way.

You don't get to call me homophobic when that isn't even the point of the article. Read it again.

I'll take every opportunity presented to me to sling mud your way, as you'll do the same for me. I don't respect the way you present the news.

The headline itself was homophobic. Your article made someone else's sexuality front page news, and ironically called it a manly mistake. If profiting from the preferences of other people is what you call an adult job done well, no games here, then I'm starting to wonder who the real adults here are, because they're beginning to act like children.

The headline was calling attention to the fact that Flint mistakenly came on to a man while drunk. This is significant because of his repeated and on the record quotes that he's all about the women. It was amusing to see that a few drinks was enough to impair his judgement badly enough to mistake Truly for an actual woman.

Inquiring minds gossiping over whether Flint is playing for the other team or not didn't read as amusement over him being impaired enough to mistake a drag queen for a woman. Impairment's got little to do with playing for either team, unless you're attempting to make up your own rumors for your own amusement.

Either you want to be a joke or you want to publish politics and actual news, you're not good enough to do both, Ms. Skeeter, and that last article was neither political, nor news.

As it happens, Truly is a friend of mine. She offered the interview, and cackled all the way through it, because she thought the whole thing was really funny. She could have pressed charges you know, considering he was right up in her space, in her lap even, slobbering all over her and not taking no for an answer. Thankfully, Truly's too much of a lady to give Flinty the punch in the giblets he richly deserved. He should be grateful that giggling is all he's suffering.

Giggling isn't all he'll suffer if the usual faithful followers of the prophet believe the rubbish you publish. Thankfully believing you isn't a problem readers tend to have lately.
