Who: Gwen Montgomery and Open
What: Shopping
Where: Diagon Alley
When: Friday afternoon
Rating: G? PG?
Status: Open

Gwendolyn was looking forward to this weekend. There was so much going on and she had so many ideas for the various parties. In truth, she'd actually wanted to take a whole weekend, properly treat Pansy to a nice dinner some time alone and just pamper her but between Will's logic and her lack of excuses that would have to wait for another weekend. Then again, the more she thought about it, the more certain she thought it might be more of a surprise if she left it a couple of weeks. At least she still had the perfect present, and if they could get enough time alone, the perfect follow-up.

Now though, now she had supplies to purchase party decorations to attain and although there were a few things that could be re-purposed and Gwendolyn was quite good at re-purposing and decorating as a whole, glitter from a wand wasn't nearly as pretty as from a bottle (though she was most certainly perfecting the appropriate spells). So, coins temporarily tucked into her bag, Gwendolyn walked down the familiar cobbled street of Diagon Alley much as she would a runway, her heels clicking loudly on the stones as she made her way along the familiar street surrounded by the familiar sights sounds and people as they bustled along on their business.

Seamus had a similar idea, party decorations were needed! Though in his case it wasn't for a party as much as he thought that appropriate celebration was needed because it was just over two weeks until the quidditch finals! Which meant that there was a lot of green in his wardrobe. He'd taken a late lunch to skip the crowds and get a chance to check out the shops for stuff to decorate his workspace with. Not that his workspace didn't already have decorations, but it could always use more, plus most of his coworkers were Ireland supporters too and were interested in joining in on the green fever.

Strolling along diagon alley, hands in his pockets and whistling happily to himself, Sea almost didn't notice the blonde who walked by. And it was only after she passed and he recognized the familiar figure did he jog after her. Sure she was way out of his league, but that never stopped him from chatting in school or over journals, and he suspected she let him because she liked the attention. "Heya!" Seamus caught up and walked beside her. "What's the gorgeous lady on a mission for?" Because she really had a purposeful walk.

Gwendolyn almost hadn't heard Seamus as she continued down the alley. She'd heard someone calling in her generally direction, but given how busy the street was, she'd assumed that the comment wasn't directed at her. That is, until someone was suddenly walking next to her. Glancing over, Gwen nearly stopped surprised to see Seamus.

"Looking for supplies." She said simply, smiling slightly. "Shopping,t hat sort of thing."

"Supplies and 'shopping' aren't at all the same thing," Seamus insisted with a grin, not deterred at all that her smile was only slight. "Though I'm doing supplies too. Gotta decorate appropriately." He tugged on his green tie, that ridiculous grin still on. "Need more green, it's the season for it! Best colour!"

"No, they aren't." Gwendolyn agreed with a smile, bigger this time. "I'll be doing both, thank you very much." She added with a laugh. It wasn't like she needed to justify her desire to shop, after all. When Seamus then went on to explain that he was decorating as well, followed by some unusual obsession with the colour green (had he switched houses or something?) she raised a delicately sculpted brow. "What exactly are you decorating?" She shouldn't have asked, maybe she'd be better off not knowing.

"More power to you! At least one of them has to be fun after all," Sea grinned, more at her smile and getting a laugh out of her than at what she was saying. "Desk, room, yard, whole house really, the office in general...Ireland is in the finals! Gotta rep country colours you know. And celebrate. Plenty of celebrating, the question is just about seeing who I can drag out."

"I do try my very best to do something fun at least several times a day." Gwendolyn said with a smirk, tossing her hair over her shoulder whilst doing so. Her brows furrowed just a little as Seamus explained everything he was decorating until he finally mentioned Quidditch. "Right,, of course." She said simply, not entirely certain what else to say to that. "I'm sure there'll be loads of people more than happy to celebrate with you."
