Dear Mr Mulciber,

I am writing to show you that I am the right person to hire for a position within your newspaper, as advertised by yourself.

As a soon to be new graduate from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, I am excited to be stepping out and making my first steps into the world after school and am enthusiastic about the opportunity to grow within a dynamic and well respected publication such as the Daily Prophet. I have always been a very enthusiastic and social person, keen to get what I want and not letting up until I can achieve my goals. I believe these qualities would make me a good match for your organisation, where my persistence could benefit your staff and publication in any position you may find me suitable for.

I have included my qualifications and subjects I will be taking my NEWTS in, but there is much more than just grades and subjects. Outside of my schoolwork I am a part of the Duelling club, and I have a keen interest in Quidditch as a supporter. One of my biggest interests though, is people. I believe there is a lot to learn from observing those around us and from sharing our worlds and lives with each other, which is a large part of what makes me interested in working within the world of journalism. I would like to be a part of one of the best ways we have to connect to the world and events around us and enable others to do the same.
