Dear Mister Snape,

Thank you very much for your further consideration. I would be able to start immediately following graduation, and am indeed keen to begin sooner rather than later. There seems little point in lazing about if I can be of use.

When you have any further details of the internship - for instance, its duration - I would be most interested.

Dear Mister Malfoy,

I expect my interns to start before 1 July and work until 1 September, at which point you will be either recommended for apprenticeship, recommended for an additional year of internship, or not recommended.
