This is the IC/OOC thread for the May WICCA meeting.

Kettle & Cup has been rented out to WICCA for the evening. Refreshments are set up on the main counter--tea, lemonade, pumpkin juice, wine, sandwiches, pastries, cheese, & fruit.

Agenda items are as follows:

Outreach to the graduating Hogwarts students.
Providing food for the DMLE while they are working overtime.
Establishing a set meeting time.
Books for the Hogwarts Library.
Any other old business.
Any additional new business.

	Narcissa reminds everyone that we had discussed a cocktail party last month. She suggests that they invite all girls graduating from Hogwarts, not just he ones who have previously expressed an interest in WICCA. She suggests the Friday after the students leave Hogwarts, June 26. She is open to suggestions as to location. (Reply to this) (Thread)

Lily suggests something sooner, or perhaps closer to next school year. A lot of students are going on trips after they leave Hogwarts, and will be gone for a week or two at least. She thinks they either need to reach them before they graduate, which she doesn't suggest given their stress levels, or right as the next school year approaches and they all are trying to find jobs. May be a better time to get them involved and how it 'looks good to be involved.'

	Definitely. If a date can be decided on that doesn't conflict with the plans of a lot of the girls she already knows will be out of the country at the time, it would be worth it to give it to them now so they can be back for it. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Narcissa suggests that, if Lily can get approval from the Headmistress, they could have it on the 20th instead. Classes and exams are done at that point, but all the students will still be at school.

She also suggests that alternatively, they could do something the Tuesday after the students return from Hogwarts. Fewer students would have left on trips at that point.

Would Lily like to ward the 7th year girls? Or perhaps Dulcinea? Narcissa would be perfectly happy to, of course, but Lily and Dulcinea have established relationships with more of the girls than Narcissa has.

Bela offers the upmarket bar in London she is currently working at for consideration or alternatively to look into places that may be suitable. She shows particular interest in getting involved in helping to plan this event. She suggests marketing it to the students as a graduation cocktail party to congratulate them and welcome them into their lives after school.

	Marcelia doesn't think the date is bad, having it soon after school ends might be good since a lot of them won't be going on trips right when school ends, but it's worth putting out an invitation out now. 	Dulci has had feedback from the DMLE on what's appropriate and is now ready for the next steps, which will be 1. Discussing with Kingsley Shacklebolt what would be appropriate and 2. Establishing a Set Meeting Time

Thus far, we have tried to keep the meeting around the 15th of the the month. However, when it falls on a weekend, we have moved the date. This means that it is impossible to plan ahead for WICCA meetings.

Narcissa proposes that they instead have a set day of the month, such as the second Thursday. That was a day that seemed to work for everyone who discussed it in the journals. She is interested in getting opinions from everyone and to see what day would be best for people.

Lily is so excited to finally tell everyone she found several vendors in the Muggleworld to purchase large quantities of books from for significantly cheaper prices than usual, if not had them donated entirely. The books have been collected at her house while she got everything ready and they are now being shipped to Hogwarts. The students this year will get a sneak peak and by next year, the Library will have its very own and decently sized muggle section.

OOC: We decided to hand wave a lot of this because it should have been done ages ago and this Lily would not have been missing meetings, so yeah. That's why it's all of a sudden done!
