Since Molly's birthday fell in the middle of the week this year, ~~and there's that whole business with Gideon being, uh, kidnapped,~~ Arthur scheduled a brunch for Sunday, in the hopes that more people would be able to attend. He didn't count on half of his children being hungover for the occasion, but, well, it's probably not the first time for that, either.

SO. Did you attend? Did you bring Molly a present? Did you drink too many mimosas? Let's discuss!

Bilius was there. He was quiet and kept to the fringes / corners as much as possible. He looked dissheveled and like he hadn't slept in a week. He would have done his best to smile and focus on being happy for Molly and probably excused himself early / left as soon as he could.

(there was also a card with silly birthday poems.. Bilius might have signed both his name and Gideon's on it. there might be some splotches over the signature.)

	Arthur would have made a point to speak to Bilius in private- or, at least, to offer to do so, if he wanted. Otherwise, he just sends Concerned Looks in his direction from time to time. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Fred was sober on Saturday so he shows up all bright and happy with Katie in tow. He does his best to be cheery and upbeat, though tones it down around Bilius. Fred makes it a point to give his Uncle B a very big hug and tells him if he needs anything he can ask Fred.

This may also be where he quickly and privately tells Fabian he wants in, same as George.

He gives his mum lots of love and hugs and a gift basket of WWW's Witch like of products and some chocolates!

Fabian showed up--he's been showing up at some point most every day this week, except Wednesday--and he was plenty sober. And did not drink too many mimosas.

He was too distracted to have brought the perfect gift, which he usually does, but he did bring a book of knitting patterns for her, some pretty yarn, and a nice basket of fresh-smelling herbal soaps and things. For once, he did not bring a gift from the Prewett parents, as has been his custom in previous years. (Though he did ward them and remind them and a separate owl may well be coming.)

Fabian made sure to spend a little time with everybody, as he was clearly feeling a bit low. Hugs all round.

Arthur! Molly probably felt bad that people had to possibly put on smiles they didn't want to (she did not feel bad about her hungover kids - that's their own fault). And she had a couple of mimosas because, screw it, she's stressed. And she did lots of drive by cuddling of Arthur and then went to chat with whoever would have her.

And then she fussed over what she could do to help.

After taking a nap with Vicky and getting refreshed, Percy came to the party with Vicky. He is not planning to get into any conversations (arguments) with anybody (Fred, George, Katie etc) about neglecting Vicky's birthday the night before, and if anybody brings it up, he'll simply explain that he realized he was wrong and that he and Vicky have worked it out, hoping to leave it at that. He doesn't want to cause a scene to detract from Molly's day.

For a gift, Percy brought a couple flats of assorted plants for her garden, along with the promise that he'll come over to help her put them in the ground. He has more free time now that the campaign is over.

Vicky arrives with Percy, feeling better after actually getting some sleep. She is not hungover, probably because she managed to drink water while not sleeping all night.

She is quieter than her friends are used to seeing her, unsure that she should have come to Molly's party. She isn't family and she doesn't want to intrude.

If anyone tries to give Percy a hard time about last night, she'll head them off. They're fine now.

	Fabian came by as part of his rounds to see the whole family and asked the usual questions about job hunting, the campaign, etc. Nothing about his parents/Percy's grandparents, though. 	George is definitely hung over and quieter than usual, but he has plenty of hugs for Mum along with a ridiculous card that sings a Celestina Warbeck song when opened and a set of serving dishes with feet that come running when they're called for.
