Report to be filed - Notice of missing persons
Subject: Gwenog Margaret Jones

Ms. Gwenog Jones did not report to work yesterday or today, gave no prior notice or possible reasons for this, and nobody contacted seems to have heard from her since Friday. I've been told her flat was in a state of disarray yesterday, but since I have not personally been there and this information comes second hand, I cannot vouch for this. I suspect someone has filed a missing persons report already, but if not I would have one filed immediately. Your department will have the full cooperation of me and my department in anything we can help with for this investigation.

Subject: Jones, Gwenog M. (Missing - FOUND)
CC: DMLE

Dear Mr. McGonagall,

A missing persons report for Ms. Jones was filed Monday 20 April 1998 after her failure to report to work and for an engangement prompted a search of her flat which yielded an investigation. I am pleased to report that Ms. Jones was found late on the 21 April.

There is an ongoing investigation as to her kidnapping, however, I am not at liberty to disclose details of an open investigation.

Thank you for your reply. I hope her family has been informed, as I know her younger sister in particular was quite concerned. Your hard work is very much appreciated and your success commendable. I hope the investigation finds a satisfactory close.
