Who: Members of WICCA and any witch who expressed an interest in joining
What: April meeting!

Where: Kettle & Cup, London

This is the IC/OOC thread for the April WICCA meeting.

Kettle & Cup has been rented out to WICCA for the evening. Refreshments are set up on the main counter--tea, lemonade, pumpkin juice, sandwiches, pastries, and a cheese and fruit plate from Kettle & Cup, and wine from the Malfoy cellars. Dobby is on hand to help with serving and has even been instructed not to punish himself while there. (He has also been very carefully instructed about what he is and is not allowed to say or imply.)

Agenda items are as follows:

Review donations received from Casino Night.
Updates on the status of any current projects
Plans for new projects
Continuing outreach to students graduating Hogwarts
Any additional items

	Narcissa arrives early to supervise as her house elves set things up and to talk to the owner of Kettle & Cup. When other WICCA members arrive, she's seated in a cozy chair with a sandwich on a low table next to her, sipping on a cup of tea. All of the house elves except for Dobby have been sent back to Malfoy Manor. (Reply to this) (Parent)

	Dulci arrived from the Ministry, a bit before 6 pm but not much so, with her work robes still on. She checked in with Narcissa to say hello and have a look at the agenda, greeted any other early birds, and settled into a chair of her own. Claire arrives shortly before six, having stopped home between the meeting and work to change and make sure supper was waiting for her husband. As is her custom, she greets everyone politely but doesn't go out of her way to converse with anyone she's not particular friends with. She gathers herself a plate of fruit and cheese and a glass of lemonade and sits by Dulci, though she spends less time talking to the other woman than simply watching the other WICCA members arrive and observing their behavior and conversations without contributing.

	Marcelia arrives early straight from work, she likes to pick a seat before everyone has come and taken the better ones. Positioning is important sometimes. 	Narcissa greets Marcelia warmly and welcomes her officially to WICCA. When Marcelia goes over to get refreshments, Narcissa joins her and pulls her aside for a private conversation. No one can hear what they're saying and Narcissa mostly keeps her back to the room, but she looks unhappy if someone catches a glimpse of her face. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

New Projects - Feeding the DMLE

Dulci fielded this one. She's been talking to members of the DMLE and understands that the Aurors and Hits are pulling long hours right now and that limits their options for eating, particularly healthy food. When Dulci herself was a Hit during the war in the seventies, she often wished she had better options for eating rather than takeaway, which was what was frequently available to her.

Dulci has scraped up cost estimates for feeding a healthy meal to the DMLE given some rough estimates. There would be options to donate to help cater a meal (by paying for it or by securing an in-kind donation), and a service project for bringing it to the Ministry. All of that would have to be run through the Ministry, with clearance from Kingsley Shacklebolt, Rufus Scrimgeour, and Amelia Bones.

Given that there are some WICCA members in the DMLE, before proceeding, Dulci would like to hear how useful that they think it would be, what kinds of food and/or times would be best (e.g., breakfast, lunch, dinner, late night), etc. Plus any other constructive input from interested volunteers.

	Dulci had warded the young ladies who came to the Holiday Ball before Casino Night and several of them attended: the Misses Patil, Miss Parkinson, and Miss Montgomery were the young ladies she spoke with personally and/or noticed. 	She agrees, there are plenty of young women graduating this year that are promising, and they could especially be of help with the education initiatives and charities, given that they've just come out of Hogwarts and have first hand knowledge of what could help now.
