A letter and a small gift wrapped box have been stealthily put into Hannah's belongings before her return to Hogwarts.

Dear Hannah,

It was wonderful to make your acquaintance over the holidays. Bilius had so many good things to say about you, and having now found out for myself, I am heartened to see not a one was exaggerated. You have been a joy. You really make him incredibly proud and all this week, there has been a light in his eyes that shall maybe dim a bit when you leave. There are very few things in this world that can do that.

I want you to know Helga will be in very good hands. She is remarkably clever and I have already caught her once unlatching the bar to her own stall in order to frolic a bit more in the fields beneath the moonlight, only to stealthily sneak back in, re-latch her stall, come morning. I pray she does not one day decide to come visit you at Hogwarts on her own, because I very well suspect she might successfully trot herself all the way into your classroom.

Parting, as they say, is such sweet sorrow. I thought it might be nice for you to always be able to see how she is doing using this mirror. It will always show you what Helga is up to (in all probability: mischief) should you find yourself missing her.

Good luck and many well wishes in the last few weeks of your term, and know you are always welcome back at the farm.
