It is my honor to invite you to make remarks regarding your proposed educational platforms during the casino night fundraising event hosted by WICCA.

The event commences at eight o’clock Friday, 10 April. To begin the event, WICCA will be introducing the scholarships it is sponsoring. Each candidate will then be given five minutes to speak. All candidates are also invited to enjoy the event for the remainder of the evening.

Please send acceptance or regrets by Wednesday, 8 April.

My dearest Mrs. Malfoy:

Please accept my profuse thanks for this generous invitation. I would be delighted to attend Casino Night and it is my understanding that one of the scholarships to be announced will be in memory of Dirk Cresswell. Mr. Cresswell and I were working on an initiative with one another and I would, in his memory, like to make a donation to this fund if you would find such a donation acceptable.

I am pleased you will be able to attend. I am certain your remarks will be enlightening.

We are awarding the scholarship in memory of Dirk Cresswell at the beginning of the night, as we have funded it with money raised at our January event. The money raised at the Casino Night is for the Phyllida Spore Educational Fund, which will cover schooling costs of underprivileged families. We would be happy to accept a donation at the event for the Phyllida Spore Educational Fund.

If you wish to donate to the Dirk Cresswell Memorial Scholarship fund, you may do so directly through Lily Potter, as she is that fund's coordinator. We would, of course, appreciate a donation to either fund, but I am certain you can understand why we wish to limit the donations collected at the Casino Night to the Phyllida Spore Educational Fund. We wish to be as transparent as possible with the money collected and to eliminate any possibility of confusion about which donations go where.

Thank you again for your interest in our educational charities.
